If you delete content from your course, it’s still saved in the Content Library. You can restore the content by:

  • Chapter
  • Page
  • Component
  • Assessment Question

Steps to Recover Content

1. Switch to Authoring Mode

  • Open your course.
  • Use the View menu (bottom-left) to switch to Authoring Mode.

2. Recover a Chapter

  • Go to Content → Course Home.
  • Click + Add Chapter.
  • Search for the chapter title.
  • Click + Add Chapter.
  • Use Reorder to move it where needed.

3. Recover a Page

  • Go to the chapter.
  • Click + Add Page.
  • Search for the page title.
  • Click + Add Page.
  • Use Reorder to move it.

4. Recover a Component

  • Go to the page.
  • Click + Add Component.
  • Search for the component title.
  • Click + Add Component.

5. Recover a Question

  • Go to the page.
  • Click Edit on the assessment.
  • Click Add Existing Item.
  • Search by question title or reference code.
  • Select the question → Click Done → Click Save.
