You can edit any OUP-provided assessment in your course by adding, removing, or editing questions.
Important: Make all edits before students start submitting. Editing questions after students have started submitting is strongly discouraged.
How to Edit an Assessment:
- Open your course.
- Switch to Authoring Mode (bottom-left menu).
- Go to the page with the assessment.
- Hover over the assessment and click Edit.
To Remove a Question:
- Click the trash icon next to the question.
- Click Save.
To Edit a Question:
- Click the question title.
- Click the pencil icon.
- Make changes.
- Click Save, then click Done on the Question.
- Click Save on the assessment.
To Add an Existing Question:
- Click + Add Existing Item.
- Search by question title or code (e.g., PoWH-5e_Chapter-Quiz_18).
- Select the question.
- Click Done, then click Save.
To Add a New Question:
- Click + Add New Item.
- Give it a useful title.
- Choose question type (e.g., Multiple Choice).
- Fill in the question content.
- Click Save, then click Done on the Question.
- Click Save on the assessment.
