You can edit any OUP-provided assessment in your course by adding, removing, or editing questions.
Important: Make all edits before students start submitting. Editing questions after students have started submitting is strongly discouraged.

How to Edit an Assessment:

  1. Open your course.
  2. Switch to Authoring Mode (bottom-left menu).
  3. Go to the page with the assessment.
  4. Hover over the assessment and click Edit.

To Remove a Question:

  • Click the trash icon next to the question.
  • Click Save.

To Edit a Question:

  • Click the question title.
  • Click the pencil icon.
  • Make changes.
  • Click Save, then click Done on the Question.
  • Click Save on the assessment.

To Add an Existing Question:

  • Click + Add Existing Item.
  • Search by question title or code (e.g., PoWH-5e_Chapter-Quiz_18).
  • Select the question.
  • Click Done, then click Save.

To Add a New Question:

  • Click + Add New Item.
  • Give it a useful title.
  • Choose question type (e.g., Multiple Choice).
  • Fill in the question content.
  • Click Save, then click Done on the Question.
  • Click Save on the assessment.
