Editing questions after students have started submitting is strongly discouraged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Edit an Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switch to <strong>Authoring Mode<\/strong> (bottom-left menu).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the page with the assessment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hover over the assessment and click <strong>Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To Remove a Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>trash icon<\/strong> next to the question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To Edit a Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the question title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>pencil icon<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>, then click <strong>Done<\/strong> on the Question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> on the assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To Add an Existing Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>+ Add Existing Item<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search by question title or code (e.g., PoWH-5e_Chapter-Quiz_18).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Done,<\/strong> then click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To Add a New Question:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>+ Add New Item<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give it a useful title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose question type (e.g., Multiple Choice).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the question content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>, then click <strong>Done<\/strong> on the Question.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong> on the assessment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Related:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.insight.oup.com\/instructor-support\/restore-removed-content\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"192\">I removed content from my course.
